Imperial Tie Fighter Helmet DIY Kit
The amazing Tie Fighter Pilot Helmet design by John Mollo and based on the wonderful artwork of Ralph McQaurrie.
As with all of our helmet designs, we meticulously researched this one to get not just the original scale and shape right or all the contours, but all the little details that were on the original helmet. Everything is to align with 501st requirements and help you make the most accurate replica of this amazing helmet!
We also offer some alternate versions; The front mask can come with or without the nose grill cut out so you can add real mesh (Please select below) - either falls in line with 501st. The helmet also comes with two versions of the forehead retainer clip greeblies. We also added a Brucey bonus after stumbling across a rare but screen used helmet different to all the others that had an Imperial Commpad on the back instead of the usual pill box which we thought was awesome so we made that available too! Both come as standard with the kit so you have the option and we also include solid prints of the eye lenses incase you want to vacu-form bubble lenses as opposed to a flat visor.
Parts are seperate for easier building and painting.
You will need a 38mm diameter black ribbed hose for the breathing apparetus.
*Please note - This is a raw 3D Printed DIY kit. The parts will need to be glued, filled, sanded, primed and painted and the fun really is all in the build! Actual items received are the following raw 3D Printed parts:

SIZING
This helmet fits most adult male heads. If you believe you have a head larger than the average Uk male of 57.2 cm circumference (measured at the brow), then please add a note to your order to print larger. As with all the Phase I iterations the helmet can come in it’s original scale (for heads that fit) and a version with a slightly wider bottom hole and neck collar for larger heads without any noticeable difference.
HOW LONG?
Orders are printed on demand. We usually dispatch within 1-2 weeks. However depending on volume or print failures it can take 1-4 weeks so please bare with us.
